Such a lovely place to stay. Comfy beds, so clean and right in the centre. Way more spacious than on photos. Only wish is there is a stair gate as the stairs were pretty treacherous for toddlers. A real gem and so glad we found it - perfect x

We spent a lovely weekend in Zaneta's flat! Perfect for the whole family to stay including a massive table to share meals, and lovely cozy area around the fireplace for everybody to spend time together. The property is bigger than it looks on the pictures ensuring everyone's privacy with own bedroom and bathroom! We didn't have the chance to enjoy the roof-terrace because of the windy and wet weather but we would love to come back and enjoy it in the hotter months! It is a perfect place to discover Hastings by foot as the flat is extremely well located with reaching distance of the main streets, pubs, seafront and both East and West hills.

A spotless, spacious and really quirky apartment in the old town of Hastings, close to the seafront and yet tucked away. It is really well fitted, and stylish, quiet and with lots of interesting local colour within a stones throw. It was a lovely place to be, really cosy for our three nights in pouring rain over the new year.

I have had the most wonderful stay, the house is amazing! The communication between myself and Zaneta was helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Just wish I could have stayed longer… thank you for everything x

One of the best Air bnbs we’ve stayed in. Spacious, clean, great location. Well equipped, plus simple things provided like washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets (that so many others don’t!). Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Excellent location in the old town, well furnished, very clean, more spacious than the photos imply! Would highly recommend.

This spacious apartment comprises of 3 bedrooms, all with king size beds, one with an en-suite, and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Each bedroom has its own smart TV. There are 2 separate bathrooms as well. It sleeps 6 comfortably with the sofa bed bringing it up to 8.

The large open plan lounge, kitchen, diner area is the perfect space for relaxing, with the addition of a log burner for those colder days. The large table comfortably sits 8. There is a fully equipped kitchen if you want to stay in and cook, although the Old Town has a wealth of fine eateries (the apartment is next door to one of the finest … the pork belly bites at Porters are a must).

Quite literally the cherry on top … the spacious roof terrace. With gorgeous views of the Old Town, the sea, the famous fishing huts and the East Hill (with the steepest funicular railway in the UK!), this really is simply a delightful place to be.

Kitchen, Lounge, Diner

The kitchen has all the facilities you’d expect, with lovely views of the garden (and some great people watching on the High St) through the sash window.

The large dining table can sit 8 people quite comfortably, and gets basked in natural day light via the enormous roof lantern above.
And finally, tucked away in the cosy end, the lounge. Sofas (one can be made into a sofa-bed, ideal for movies), log burner, large TV on the wall. What more do you need for a cosy evening in?

  • Dishwasher
  • Washing machine
  • Microwave
  • Nespresso coffee machine
  • Internet radio / bluetooth speaker
  • Full array of utensils, crockery, etc.
  • A good collection of board games (in side board)
  • Dining table for up to 8
  • Log burner (with complimentary bag of logs stored under the burner)
  • Two sofas (one coverts to a bed), one arm chair, several large bean bags
  • 52″ wall mounted smart TV

Bedroom 1

Bedroom 1 is the first door you’ll come to from the open plan living area. The panelling frames the kingsize bed nicely, and the high ceilings give a sense of space.

The higgledy-piggledy roof tops and beer garden views from the window are typical of the Old Town. This bedroom has an ensuite with shower.

  • Kingsize bed
  • Bedside cabinets
  • Double sofa bed (suitable for children)
  • Large wardrobe (with full length mirror)
  • Drawers
  • Wall mounted smart TV
  • Hair dryer
  • Ensuite

Bedroom 2 & 3

Bedrooms 2 and 3 are a mirror image of each other. Cosy, simple and spacious, the rooms hold some history… the window walls are clad in the original warehouse floor.

Views from the windows utterly define the old town … the fishing huts, The Stade, Jerwood gallery, West Hill (steepest funicular railway in Britain!) and Winkle Island to name a few.

  • Kingsize bed
  • Bedside cabinets
  • Large wardrobe
  • Full length mirror
  • Drawers
  • Wall mounted smart TV
  • Hair dryer

Bathrooms

There are three bathrooms, one of them en-suite to bedroom 1, the other two across the corridor from bedroom 2 and 3.

All have comfortable WCs (with soft close seats), towel rails, sink, storage. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over it. The shower room has a spacious walk in shower. The en-suite has a quadrant enclosure.

The Garden

Entrance to the apartment very secure gate (with number keypad), through the private garden, then up a flight of stairs to the raised decking area with rattan seating.

For those interested in a bit of history, there is plenty to be found here. It is said that the Duke of Wellington once hid in the basement of the building that once stood on this site (now the sunken area with the boat seat and picnic bench), and there are visible areas of a medieval wall of archaeological significance. See History for more info.

Whether interested in how it came to be or not, there’s no denying it’s a gorgeous retreat from the hubbub of the High St, with the raised decking area getting the sun right through to mid afternoon. Oh, and you get your very own enormous pirate graffiti to admire while you’re at it.

The Roof Terrace

The proverbial cherry on top. The sun lounge with it’s two sofas is a relaxing place to be rain or shine (or storm!). From this room the large bi-fold doors take you out to the roof terrace where you can chill on the rattan sofas, bathe on the sun loungers or simply stand and admire the views (sea, Winkle Island, the fishing huts, East Hill just being some of the highlights).
